life after graduation
Officially finished my undergraduate career this month. Cannot explain in words how I feel, but needless to say, it's absolutely great. The downside is that I now have absolutely nothing to do. I am still looking for a job, and in the midst of studying for my MCATs, but really there doesn't seem to be a solid future plan for me at this time.

On a side note... this past weekend was spent in Seattle for a Sigma Psi Zeta national convention. I will be serving as one of the Chapter Directors and am really looking forward to serving on the executive board for the 2010 - 2011 term.

senior week.. somewhat failure
Finals have been over for about a week now. However, the supposedly "greatest" week of being a senior has somewhat been a letdown. The horrible weather playing a big factor in this statement. Friday we went out to explore downtown Rochester after having a fun lunch date with a bunch of sisters at La Tea Da. Although it was drizzling practically the whole day, it was a lot of fun just going around the city. Having absolutely no commitments, no meetings, and no deadlines is a great way to go. We stopped by Parkleaigh and bought our own ugly dolls... which were actually fairly cute key chains =D Then we headed over to The Spot, a coffee shop to chill and rest our feet. I'm not a huge fan of the big birthday celebrations for numerous reasons and haven't liked celebrating my birthday for a really long time now. But this year was really awesome. First I didn't feel obligated to make sure everyone was having a great time. We were just all hanging out, exploring together. Second I didn't have to pretend to be having fun. And finally, I didn't have to "fake" conversation. That's the thing with birthdays, a lot of the time I feel like I'm playing hostess and instead of enjoying my so called special day, I'm running around trying to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Making sure I haven't accidentally slighted anyone because I didn't talk to them that day. Yes, its quite complicated and I'm not even sure why I feel that way. These peeps were awesome. Thank you for putting up with that windy cold day in downtown Rochester, spending almost 12 hours with me as we drank tea, coffee, and alcohol. It was ridiculously tiring and it was awesome you guys were cool with it =D I love drama free days =D I also got a Japanese doll from my little's as my bday present. I'm imitating the dolls facial expression.. I wish I still had my white wig. The next day was supposed to be Darien Lake. I ended up skipping the trip because my nose was running and the weather was so bad. I also skipped the senior night and went to Seoul Garden for Korean food with Ling instead. Today we ended up just chilling at Boulder Cafe for the day. Also had a mini photo shoot by the river. Fun times.
