Anyway I wanted to post up my favorite pictures from all the places I've been to during the last four months. I'll probably split this up into two sections. I'm still in the process of organizing all the photos that I've taken while I was abroad. I know I'm really dorky but I really liked my mailbox. Don't ask me why. I locked it on accident the first day and never got it to open again.
The hanami season in Japan was really beautiful. I went to the American Base in the Kanagawa Prefecture as well as the Kudanshita Park to see the Hanami. Camp Zama was opened up to the public so that people could come and enjoy the beautiful Cherry Blossoms. They bloomed late this year because of the cold weather. The third picture is from Kudanshita Park.
We then had a week long vacation a few weeks later because of Golden Week. I took the opportunity to travel to Korea since I had never been there before. I met up with Melissa and Hana, and toured several of the palaces in Seoul. These were taken at the Changdeokgung Palace.
Melissa took me to a Folk Village somewhere in the city which was supposed to show visitors how people in the past lived. The fun part of the trip was when we both tried on hanboks.
And because my camera takes very bad night shots, I was unable to take good pictures at the Cheonggyecheon Stream. We had missed the Lotus Festival of Lanterns by a few days days,, but luckily the decorations from the event were still up.
Part II... for later.
