Fall Semester Blues
The semester is already half-way done but my workload is still the same. So frustrating. But the good news is that Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and shortly after that is Christmas. Must start shopping for gifts.. hmm.

I swear time goes by so fast when I'm in Rochester. I always have exams and papers due, sorority events, RA stuff to take care off, and other stuff that pops outta nowhere. Like last night's most random midnight fire alarm because someone was cooking fried chicken. Which made me hungry.. good thing everything was closed. Anyway since the beginning of the semester I've accumulated a few pictures that I wanted to share. The first one is from the Memorial Art Gallery's Art Fair in downtown Rochester New York. I went so I could buy Kettle Corn Popcorn that this local company makes which is so good, and stuck around to walk off the calories from the huge bag of popcorn that I inhaled. These glass artworks were so pretty but very pricey.

This piece was a windchime. I wish I could make or own something like this. There was a sort of windchime art piece in the movie Autumn in New York with Winona Ryder that was amazing. Can't find a picture of it though. And then just recently the UR's Scare Fair hosted by the Rush Rhees Library. They opened up the balcony at the top of the library to 350 students. They do it every year but this was my first time going up. The last three years I either had lab or class, or just forgot about it. It was fun, me and my lil Christy ran around the library to complete the scavenger hunt (which is hazing by the way according to the UR's Greek policy) and then we went up the sketchy elevator that looks like it belongs in a horror flick. This is the view from the top of the academic quad and me and collision.
Next trip is Amherst for Convention and then NYC for Thanksgiving =D Post more pics up from those roadtrips later. AFTER I write my 3 ten page term papers that are due at the end of the month. Argh.. wish me lots of freakin luck!
